GF/V Restaurants Guide

There are many gluten free and vegan restaurants in the Philadelphia area. Before you look at the list here are a few reminders. Restaurants can be GF and/ or V friendly. This means they don't have a separate menu for the diet but they can do their best to cook a few items on the menu just for you. Below we have labeled those restaurants with a GFF or VF. Don't forget to click on the links to visit the website!

Gluten Free Menu Restaurants

• Maggiano's- In the mood for chicken Parmesan or mozzarella sticks? How about gluten free pasta? Ask any Magginao's about their gluten free menu. Maggiano's will also make something special for vegans, although it's very limited.

• Giorgio On Pine- This is the best gluten free Italian restaurant to visit in Philadelphia. The gluten free pizza is amazing! Thick and soft with any toppings you want. Most of the entrees can be created gluten free on request. Desserts are also gluten free! This restaurant is vegan friendly.

• P.F Chang's- If you are in the mood for Chinese Bistro this is your place. Their gluten free menu is quickly growing and they are very creative. P.F Chang also offers a vegetarian menu which vegans can order from. They are great with requests to not include eggs or fish sauce.

• Outback Steakhouse- Outback Steakhouse has a lot of restrictions on their gluten free menu, but if you are looking for a something on the grill its a great place to go to. Outback is not the best place for a vegan to visit... but they do offer salads/sweet potatoes/ baked potatoes without butter or cheese.

• Osaka Restaurant- Osaka is located in Chestnut Hill, Pa. They offer gluten free soy sauce as well as gluten free options. 

• Jules Pizza- Gluten free menu! Great place if you are craving think crispy pizza with fresh veggies! Vegan friendly

Vegan Menu Restaurants

• Gianna's Grille- Vegan Menu / GFF  -Jeff and I order in from Gianna's all the time. He loves the pineapple pizza (with vegan cheese and even vegan meat) and the vegan cheese steak. This restaurant  offers gluten free friendly food. I always get the chicken cheese steak with no bread. They have all types of cheese steaks if you are interested.

•  Horizons - Vegan Menu / GFF- Horizons is great for a night out.The food is good and well presented too! If you are looking for gluten free food they will let you know what they can make for you.

• Mi Lah Vegetarian- Vegan Menu / GFF- Mi Lah is a personal favorite of ours! They have brunch on Sundays which is delicious. French Toast, potato wedges,  scrambled tofu, blueberry pancakes, veggie sausage and  bacon...ect. The lunch and dinner menu is as good if not better. Ask about what foods are gluten free when you visit and they will be able to point out those foods on the menu.

• Sweet Freedom Bakery Vegan / Gluten Free Menu-WOW! If you are in the mood for some tasty treats this is your place. Sweet Freedom Bakery is in walking distance from Jeff and I. All sweets created by Sweet Freedom are Vegan and Gluten Free! Jeff and I stay in touch with the latest baked goods through Facebook. They post their newest creations throughout the week.
